The Minnesota Twins celebrated Lynx Night on Tuesday at Target Field

Tuesday was Minnesota Lynx night at Target Field in Minneapolis and the reigning WNBA champions were given the hero's welcome they deserved. Most of the team was in attendance, as well as the trophy, and the Twins seemed happy to be graced by their presence.

Coach Cheryl Reeve was even given first pitch honors -- and she did not disappoint. (Okay, it was a little high, but it was still a great effort.)

Reigning league MVP Sylvia Fowles joined the FOX Sports North broadcast during the game. She previewed the upcoming season and poked some fun at her coach's pitch.

"She thought I was standing there at home plate," said Fowles. "We were practicing before... So it was a little high. But overall I thought she did pretty good."

Despite having the four-time champs in the building, the Twins lost to the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-4, in 10 innings.
