May the fourth be with you -- let's celebrate Star Wars Day!
May the force be with you!
(Anyone else want to say, "And also with you"? No, just me? OK, moving on.)
For the uninitiated, May 4th is the day everyone celebrates lightsaber- and blaster-wielding fictional characters from a galaxy far, far away. The whole thing is really a bad dad joke when you think about it. I can see my father totally asking me at breakfast, "Hey Kate, what day is Star Wars Day?"
I wait, and then he answers, "May ... the fourth."
May the fourth indeed!
Lots of people are celebrating this day of merriment, including people who play sports. It's kind of the best.
I mean, lightsaber bats are pretty awesome.
But wait, there's more!
Get it ... Seattle Stormtrooper? I told you it was a day of dad jokes.
All kidding aside, we have to throw it back to one of the best "This Is SportsCenter" ads of all time.
The force is with us. We are one with the force.
Happy Star Wars Day!
