U.S. defender Kelley O'Hara remembers the sting of getting cut from the 2011 Women's World Cup team. Even after she was named as a reserve, and eventually ended up on the roster in Germany, she carried that feeling with her. It has motivated her over the last four years, and has helped her stay focused through the pain of pushing her body to the limit in training. "If you want it, you are going to have to suck it up and be in pain for a while. The thought of winning the World Cup makes it easier."
