SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Randy Waldrum, who led Notre Dame women's soccer team to national championships in 2004 and '10, has resigned to become coach of the expansion Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League.
The university announced Waldrum's resignation on Friday, saying he will be introduced as coach of the Dash at a news conference Monday.
