Brittany Force lost to Antron Brown in the Top Fuel final last week at the Route 66 NHRA Nationals.

Before every event of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, ESPN analyst Mike Dunn will rank the top three drivers -- and riders on weekends when the Pro Stock Motorcycle crew competes -- in each category. Up this week? The Summit Racing Equipment Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

Top Fuel

1. Antron Brown
2. Doug Kalitta
3. Brittany Force

My formula has Brown and Kalitta tied, but Brown gets the top spot for his final-round record. Force's numbers have been getting better the past three races, and coming off a runner-up effort she makes it into the rankings for the second time this season. One to watch is the Al-Anabi race team. It has put a driver in the winner's circle four of the past five years.

Funny Car

1. Tommy Johnson Jr.
2. Matt Hagan
3. Robert Hight

Johnson is No. 1 because of what that car does in the heat, and now we know it can run in cool conditions. One to watch is Alexis DeJoria. Not running on Friday and not qualifying in the top half hurt her. She lost to John Force in the first round when he ran low of eliminations. DeJoria's numbers on that run would have beat anybody on the bottom half except Hagan. She still has a good car.

Pro Stock

1. Jason Line
2. Vincent Nobile
3. Dave Connolly

I went off the reservation a little on this one. Line had a great car in Chicago and has been improving the past few races. Add in the fact that it's his sponsor's race, then I like his chances. Nobile won Chicago on his driving (not the first time I've said that), and Connolly is an Ohio boy, so I like both of them in the rankings. Plus they both have good cars.

Pro Stock Motorcycle

1. Hector Arana Jr.
2. Ed Krawiec
3. Matt Smith

I put Hector No. 1 because of momentum, although Krawiec's bike is just slightly better than his. One to watch would be Andrew Hines. He has struggled big time lately, but he has three wins here so this would be a great place for him to get back on track.
