"The pressure of [breaking the record] and the highs and lows, especially the lows, along the way have made this moment so much sweeter." --Lauren Chamberlain

Steven Spielberg couldn't have made Lauren Chamberlain's 91st collegiate home run any more cinematic.

On April 30, Oklahoma's Chamberlain blasted a grand slam against North Texas and rounded the bases into the history books with the NCAA home-run record. Nicknamed the Babe Ruth of softball, Chamberlain finished her collegiate career as a four-time All-American with 95 home runs, 254 RBIs and a .960 slugging percentage.

Upon graduation, she headed to Kissimmee, Florida, to join the USSSA Pride in National Pro Fastpitch -- she's passionate about increasing the visibility and fan base of the five-team league.

With a golden bat and a personality as strong as her swing, she definitely has the tools to accomplish that goal.
