Baylor Lady Bears or Connecticut Huskies? Whose 2018 recruiting class is better?

Christyn Williams, the No. 1 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2018 class, has committed to Connecticut. She says the history, opportunity and "home feeling" drew her to Storrs.


Connecticut came out of nowhere. But was Baylor's lead too big from the start? Geno Auriemma brought a grand total of zero commitments into the early signing period. But that's old news now.

In the past five days, UConn has landed signatures from No. 1 prospect Christyn Williams and No. 5 Olivia Nelson-Ododa, a former No. 1 prospect.

Question is, does that surpass Baylor?

Kim Mulkey had five verbal commitments coming into the early signing period and got five signatures. We're talking five coveted signatures: No. 4 Aquira DeCosta, No. 8 NaLyssa Smith, No. 15 Queen Egbo, No. 18 Honesty Scott-Grayson and No. 28 Caitlin Bickle.
