French Counter-Strike: Global Offensive entry fragger Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey has returned to the starting lineup of his team, FaZe Clan, after three weeks of inactivity, the organization announced today on its Facebook page. KioShiMa replaces fellow FaZe rifler Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad, who will move to an inactive role and decide whether he wants to stay with the team or have FaZe facilitate a transfer with another Counter-Strike lineup.

The move comes after the team qualified for the ELeague Season 2 playoffs in late Oct. by defeating Brazil's Immortals and North America's Cloud9 under the leadership of its new captain, Finn "karrigan" Andersen. Karrigan had initially replaced kioShiMa in the team's starting lineup following a transfer from Danish organization Astralis.

Less than a week after the qualification for ELeague playoffs, the team then took seventh-eighth at the ESL Pro League finals in São Paulo, Brazil, failing to qualify for that tournament's playoffs after losses to Cloud9, SK Gaming, and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

KioShiMa's first online match back with the team will take place Thursday in FACEIT and Twitch's Esports Championship Series as FaZe faces off with mousesports. His first offline appearance in the team's new lineup will occur at the iBUYPOWER Masters 2016 tournament, which will take place on Nov. 11-12 in Costa Mesa, California as FaZe will battle against seven other Counter-Strike teams for a chance to compete at Intel Extreme Masters Oakland the following weekend.
