Since its founding four years ago, over $4 million has been
raised.
Twenty eight grants, totaling over $3.2 million have been made.
The Foundation has also funded the Jim Valvano Day Hospital
at Duke University Children's Hospital and the Jim Valvano
Laboratory at the University of North Carolina Lineberger
Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, Lesley Visser, Dick Vitale and John
Saunders are four the 19 Foundation Board members.
Over 25 college and pro coaches and players participated in the
Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic. Charles Barkley, Larry Brown, John
Calipari, Bobby Cremins, Tom Gugliotta, Christian Laettner, Nancy
Liebermann Cline, Dave Odom, David Robinson, Dean Smith and Kay Yow to
name a few.
The Foundation is guided by Jim Valvano's motto: Don't Give
