Ben Affleck and LeBron James will present major awards at The ESPYS.
Affleck, an actor and Academy Award-winning director and writer, will present the Jimmy V Perseverance Award to Dick and Rick Hoyt, a father/son team who have participated in more than 1,000 endurance events together over more than 30 years. Rick, 51, was born with cerebral palsy and is unable to use his hands or legs. His father, 73, runs with his son. They ran in this year's Boston Marathon and were one mile from the finish when the bombs went off. They have vowed to run again next year.
James, who won his second NBA title in June with the Miami Heat, will present the Arthur Ashe Courage Award to "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts, who has overcome two life-threatening illnesses. Roberts is a former college basketball player at Southeastern Louisiana University.
The ESPYS are set for July 17 on ESPN (9 p.m. ET).
