Closer report: Is Cody Allen's role safe in Cleveland?

Cleveland Indians right-hander Cody Allen faced two hitters on Sunday afternoon, and after walking Brian Dozier, he watched helplessly as Eddie Rosario took his four-seam fastball over the center-field fence for a game-winning home run. Bloated ERA aside, Allen is not having an ugly season, certainly not when compared with the rest of the beleaguered bullpen, though he is No. 30 among relief-eligible options on the Player Rater.

Some might be concerned about investing in Allen with his reliever teammates struggling so much, and the Indians could probably coast to the AL Central division title with 85 or so wins, perhaps making Allen less desirable to roster.
