What should you do with bad shooters like Lonzo Ball?

Not that I would ever actually root against Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball, but one of the first things I do when I check a Lakers box score is see how many field goal attempts he had, and how many he made, and then perhaps smirk a bit.

Ball is not a good shooter. I feel like we definitively knew this about him months ago, but these numbers are something unexpected: Ball is shooting 29.9 percent from the field and has eclipsed 40 percent in a mere two of his 10 games. That's really, really hard to do without seeing a reduction in playing time, which in this case isn't coming. Wow!

However, because we try to focus on the positive in ESPN Fantasy whenever possible, it does seem really, really unlikely that Ball will continue to shoot this poorly. To be fair, he's valuable other than the field goal percentage, contributing a top-10 figure in assists, and he rebounds well for a guard, plus there are some steals.
