College Fantasy Championship

Introducing: the ESPN College Fantasy Football Championship

Represent Your University. Beat Your Rivals. Be a Champion.

Let's say you go to Auburn. Let's assume you hate Alabama.

Or perhaps you went to Michigan. And all you think about is beating the Buckeyes.

Or maybe you attended a school that's not in the SEC, Pac-12 or Big 12?

But, hey: you love your football team nonetheless. And you dream of a chance of one day competing amongst the big boys.

Whoever you are, this is your chance to assert your supremacy and humiliate your rivals -- to prove, once and for all, that those teams and fans from across the state or the conference or the country are just as inferior as you think they are.

This is your chance to represent your school's football team, and to do so without ever stepping in the path of a charging lineman, let alone onto a football field.

This is the ESPN College Fantasy Championship, a 65-player competition pitting fans of Division I football teams against each other in order to find out -- well, what else -- who's No. 1.

Think you have what it takes to be the best fantasy football player in the country? This is your chance to prove it.

How does it work?

What we have here is a giant, good ol' fashioned fantasy football league -- yes, pro fantasy football -- with much bigger stakes.

One fan will be chosen to represent each of the 65 football schools in Pac-12, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC and SEC.**

Once we have our participants, we will divide the field up by conference. Each conference will have a fantasy football draft -- with ESPN standard fantasy rules -- and competition will proceed as it normally would throughout the season.

Each of the five winners earns bragging rights as the best fantasy player in his or her league and a free one-year subscription to ESPN Insider. The champions will be measured against each other utilizing ESPN's proprietary group strength calculations to determine an overall champion. Own the top team in the land, and receive a trophy with your name and "ESPN COLLEGE FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPION" tattooed on its plaque, etched in eternity.

But that's not all, overall champion: You'll be a guest on the Fantasy Focus podcast and, if you're ever in town, we'd be happy to show you around the ESPN campus.

I want in.

Excited? We certainly are. Here's how you get involved:

Before August 15, go on Facebook or Twitter. Tag ESPN Fantasy Sports (Facebook) or @ESPNFantasy (Twitter) in a post. Then, using one of the formats listed below, convince us why your favorite school is the best in its respective conference.

1. A written post of no more than 100 words (Can include a photo).

2. An embedded Vine, Instagram or Youtube video of no more than 30 seconds.

Make sure your post is PUBLIC or we will not be able to see it.

Fans with the most creative, convincing entries will be selected for the competition. Keep it clean.

Entries should remain positive and reflect an appropriate image of you and your favorite school. You must be 18+ and currently enrolled in, or a an alumni of, the school you wish to represent.*

Get it? Got it? Good.

One more thing before we go...

Along with your written post or video, the following MUST be included in your submission:

1. A mention of your school's official Facebook page.

2. A valid ESPN.com username.

That's it: A Facebook post. A chance at immortality.

The door's open, potential champion. Time to run through it.
