Apparently being a top-ranked English golfer has its privileges, such as being invited to the Royal Box for the middle Saturday at Wimbledon.

Ian Poulter -- along with the likes of international soccer star David Beckham, and cyclists Bradley Wiggins and Victoria Pendleton -- joined the select few invited to watch the tennis with some of England's top sporting stars.

Always the man on social media, Poulter began sharing about his day on Twitter on the way to the matches and included shots with Beckham.

Poulter, who hails from England and lives in Florida, owns two top-10s on the PGA Tour in the 2013-14 wraparound season and one on the European Tour.

The 25th-ranked Poulter is on the entry list to play the Scottish Open starting July 10. He'll also be at Royal Liverpool near Manchester, England, the following week for the Open Championship.
