Prior to the Olympics, Rory McIlroy not only withdrew himself from the golf competition, but said he wouldn't watch, because he only watches "the events that matter." As it turns out, he did watch the very end of Justin Rose's gold medal victory over Henrik Stenson -- and liked what he saw. "It was nice to be proven wrong," he said today.
