Bob Harig ESPN Senior Writer

Adam Hadwin shot 59 on Saturday during the third round of the CareerBuilder Challenge, the second in 10 days on the PGA Tour. Justin Thomas did it at the Sony Open last week. It is the ninth sub 60 score in PGA Tour history and the sixth since 2010.

Adam Hadwin becomes the first Canadian to shoot a 59 on the PGA Tour! 13 birdies and zero bogeys catapulted the 196th ranked player in the world to the top of the leaderboard at -17 when he finished his round.

Here we go!! Adam Hadwin makes a birdie on the 17th hole, that's #13 for the round. A par on the 18th for 59 or a birdie to tie Jim Furyk's 58, the lowest score ever shot on the PGA Tour.

Adam Hadwin needs one birdie in two holes to shoot the second 59 of 2017! Playing at the LaQuinta Country Club, Hadwin has 12 birdies thru 16 holes so far. Last week at the Sony Open Justin Thomas shot the 7th 59 in PGA Tour history.
