Hole 1

The skinny:
A new tee for the PGA Championship adds 20 yards to this opening hole, making the first drive of the day very important. A long, straight drive can take advantage of a downslope at the 260-yard mark, adding 30-40 yards of roll and setting up a short-iron approach shot to the green. There's OB on the right off the tee and trees lining both sides of the fairway.
