Forecast: Rory McIlroy to win Masters

The first Masters Tournament in 20 years without Tiger Woods is also about as wide open as it gets, according to our ESPN Forecast panel.

Our 20 panelists predicted 12 possible champions, including defending champ Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Jason Day, Sergio Garcia, Harris English, Jason Dufner, Zach Johnson, Lee Westwood, Patrick Reed and three-time champ Phil Mickelson.

In the overall voting, McIlroy edged ahead of Scott as the top choice of our panel, with the full results below.

We also asked which rookies would fare best, and about half our panel chose Jordan Spieth as the top finisher among rookies, followed by Reed and English.

As for the world No. 1, we asked: How many more Masters will Woods win?

Most of our panel predicted one more green jacket for Woods, while some expect two more, and some believe he'll never win at Augusta again.
