Seminole Golf Club will open its doors to the public for the first time when it hosts the 2021 Walker Cup, according to Golf Digest.
Located in Juno Beach, Fla., the exclusive course will play host as top amateurs from the United States take on their counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland in the biennial matches.
The course was designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1929.
The U.S. won the most recent Walker Cup, 17-9, in September at National Golf Links of America on Long Island -- another historic course largely unknown outside of golf's inner circles.
The next Walker Cup will be held at Royal Lytham & St. Annes in 2015. The event returns to the U.S. in 2017 at Los Angeles Country Club. It will be played at Royal Liverpool, site of next year's Open Championship, in 2019.
