New deal includes instruction, Web pieces

NEW YORK -- Tiger Woods renewed his contract with Golf
Digest, which will supply his Web site with photos and archives of
instruction stories he writes for the magazine.

Woods first became a playing editor for Golf Digest five years
ago. Wednesday's deal was believed to be for at least five years.

Woods writes exclusive articles for the monthly magazine, most
of them instruction pieces. He collaborated with Golf Digest
editors Guy Yocom and Pete McDaniel on his book, "How I Play
Golf."

The new deal creates an alliance between Golf Digest and
tigerwoods.com.

The magazine will supply photos of Woods from every tournament
he plays to the Web site, along with magazine content Woods writes
and an archive of his articles, ranging from instructional pieces
to swing sequence photos that have appeared in Golf Digest since
1997.

"This will be an awesome site with the addition of all the past
material from Golf Digest and the content to be produced in the
future," Woods said.

Golf Digest also will provide photos and printed material to
junior clinics that Woods conducts, and it will publish the Tiger
Woods Foundation annual report.
