Trahan possesses good arm strength, quick feet and a consistent swing that produces above average power from the left side of the plate. He's strong and sturdy, suggesting he can physically handle catching long term, but he also runs well, posting times from home to first in the low-four seconds range. He's committed to Ole Miss, but the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder has a chance to be taken off the board among the top 20 picks and is among the better high school catching prospects over the past five years.

The top catching prospect in the nation, Trahan has it all. He is built like a linebacker and is listed at 6-foot-1, 220-pounds. He has an above-average, left-handed power bat which is rare and highly desirable for catchers. For someone built so solid, he runs extremely well ranging between 7.0-7.1 in the 60-yard dash.
Trahan can play several positions. Of course, if he can stick behind the plate that would be optimal, but his bat and athleticism can play at the corner infield and outfield positions. Highly athletic, he is also the starting quarterback for his high school.

We're thrilled to have Stryker as a part of our program," Ole Miss assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Carl Lafferty said. "He has tremendous left-handed power offensively and projects as a middle of the lineup hitter. He also has great skills behind the plate."
