All-American Candidate/Pro Prospect: 90.00-100
The athlete has the potential to be a Freshman All-American with the ability to play at the pro level. He is highly skilled and accomplished and will contribute immediately at a high performance level.
High-Major College Prospect/Pro Prospect: 80.00-89.99
The athlete should contribute right away and could be an All-American Candidate year two and beyond. The athlete could play his freshman year and has the physical tools and skills, although performances may not be as accomplished. Present tools and projection could land the player within the top ten rounds of the Major League Baseball Draft.
Mid-Major College Prospect: 70.00-79.99
The athlete is not at the elite level yet but should develop into a major contributor in time. Physical tools or athletics performances are not as accomplished. Athlete who, with coaching and development, should contribute during his college career. Could be a late pick in the Major League Baseball Draft.
Lower College Prospect: 60.00-69.99
Potential college contributor with question marks about size, tools or ability to perform at the college level. Successful high school performer with uncertainties about how ability will translate at the next level.
