Jordan Brand players' top MJ moments

From the rock-the-cradle dunk to the tongue-wagging drives and fadeaways, Michael Jordan, ESPN SportsCentury's top athlete of the 20th century, had more defining moments in one season than most have in a career.

But which was the most memorable?

Depends on who you ask.

We caught up with a handful of players picked for the Jordan Brand Classic at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C., on April 14 (7 p.m. ET on ESPN), and had them dish on their favorite Jordan moments.

J.P. Tokoto, Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls, Wis.), SF
Signed to: North Carolina
My favorite Michael Jordan moment is …
"When he hit that game winner against the Utah Jazz and made Bryon Russell fall just before he made the shot. Man I've seen that a few times on ESPN Classic and the way he held the follow-through up after the shot was just great. That's my favorite by far."

Archie Goodwin, Sylvan Hills (Little Rock, Ark.), SG
Signed to: Kentucky
My favorite Michael Jordan moment is …
"When he would play against the New York Knicks in the playoffs. It's like, as great as Jordan was, he would just take it to an even higher level when he played the Knicks in the playoffs and he would dominate them. I'm such a Jordan fan and there are so many memories, but that's the thing that sticks out to me."

Marcus Paige, Linn-Mar (Marion, Iowa), PG
Signed to: North Carolina
My favorite Michael Jordan moment is …
"When he dropped 63 points against the Celtics in the playoffs. I've seen the replay of the game a few times -- my dad has a bunch of old tapes that I watch -- and that game was just amazing. That was young and exciting Jordan and it was really when he was asserting his dominance in the league."

Rodney Purvis, Upper Room Christian Academy (Raleigh, N.C.), SG
Signed to: NC State
My favorite Michael Jordan moment is …
"When he dunked on Dikembe Mutombo and then Jordan hit him with the finger wave right in his face after he dunked on him. That was the craziest Jordan moment."

Tony Parker, Miller Grove (Lithonia, Ga.), PF
My favorite Michael Jordan moment is …
"When I just think about how intense and competitive he was. I talk to Antonio Davis a lot and he told me a story from his rookie year about when he blocked Jordan's shot and on the next play he tried to drive the lane and Jordan hit him with a hard elbow and said 'Welcome to the NBA rookie!' He was just a hard-nosed competitor and I respect that the most."

Rasheed Sulaimon, Strake Jesuit (Houston), SG
Signed to: Duke
My favorite Michael Jordan moment is …
"When he hit all of those 3-pointers against the Trail Blazers that year. I remember coming into that series people were debating about who was the better shooting guard between him and Clyde Drexler and he just removed all doubt. Then he did the famous shoulder shrug. That was greatness."
