CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Nike Football SPARQ Combine once again did not disappoint with over 1,300 getting SPARQ tested and looking to prove themselves. It was a day for the underclassmen, as they were out to prove they could hang with the older guys. While many had great performances, only 24 were good enough to make the All-Combine team.
Note: Selections are based upon combine performance as well as past and projected on-field performance. Athletes must have completed two of the four combine tests to be eligible for selection. Athletes are in the Class of 2013 unless otherwise noted.
QB: Jalen Latter, 5-11, 187, Vance (Charlotte, N.C.)

Breakdown: A talented prospect who could switch positions at the next level to maximize ability.
RB: Elijah Hood (2014), 6-0, 209, Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, N.C.)

Breakdown: This physical back posted the day's third-best rating thanks to an outstanding 40-yard dash time.
RB: Derrell Scott (2014), 5-10.5, 172, Havelock (N.C.)

Breakdown: Already being heavily recruited after a big sophomore season, with early offers from North Carolina and South Carolina.

Breakdown: A relative unknown heading into the combine, he impressed with a strong powerball for player of his size.
WR: Kwamane Bowens, 6-0.5, 166, Salem (Virginia Beach, Va.)

Breakdown: Bowens is emerging as one of the best WR prospects in the region and proved it with an outstanding performance.
WR: Bra'lon Cherry, 5-11.5, 175, New Bern (N.C.)
Results: 4.56 40, 4.27 SH, 36-5 PB, 35.8 VJ, 102.54 SPARQ
Breakdown: Posted the day's top rating for the Class of 2013 prospects in attendance and will likely see an increase in attention from colleges as a result.
WR: Dante Jones, 5-10.5, 184, Southeast (Raleigh, N.C.)
Results: 4.81 40, 4.07 SH, 36 PB, 33.4 VJ, 94.98 SPARQ
Breakdown: Getting heavily recruited by Duke and should see other schools enter the picture after a solid outing.
