INSIDE THE KENTUCKY WILDCATS' CLASS
Coming off an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA tournament, Matthew Mitchell has landed a big 2014 class for the Wildcats -- in more ways than one.
Leading the way is Alyssa Rice, a 6-foot-3 center who is one of the most impressive and versatile bigs in the class. She is ranked 20th overall in the nation, has a tremendous work ethic and chose Kentucky over Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia and West Virginia. She averaged 15.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.0 blocks as a junior at Reynoldsburg (Ohio).
Joining Rice in the Wildcats' class is Alexis Jennings, a promising 6-2 post player from Alabama who also could make an immediate impact. She is the No. 64 prospect in the nation.
The final player in the Wildcats' class is Jaycee Coe, a 6-foot three-star forward from Tennessee.
