TOP COMMITS

INSIDE THE MARYLAND TERRAPINS' CLASS

The Maryland class starts with the No. 1 point guard in the nation.

Ashley Owusu, the No. 5 prospect overall, stars at national powerhouse Paul VI (Fairfax, Virginia), where she averaged 19 points, 7 assists and 9 rebounds as a junior. She's strong, athletic and creative. She also knows how to score.

Coach Brenda Frese has another top-20 commitment from Diamond Miller, a 6-1 guard from New Jersey and the No. 18 prospect in the class. Miller won gold with Team USA at the 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.

Maryland also got official NLIs from Zoe Young, a 5-10 point guard and floor leader supreme out of Iowa ranked 30th in the nation; and Faith Masonius, an agile 6-foot wing ranked 49th.
