Nike TOC-Dec. 11: Left-hand dominant 4 player. Hasn't developed perimeter skill, a bit undersized but is effective at the 4. Does her damage 15 feet and in. Good length, motor moving pretty well. (Clay)
WCP Spring-May 11: Athletic 4 player, will run the floor. Not advanced offensively. Gets the job done by running the floor, rebounding and defending. (Clay)
Nike Skills-May 10: Perimeter skills are beginning to evolve for this athletic guard. Her size and build combine with speed and quickness to make her a promising prospect on the wing. There's still a consistency issue but that should resolve itself with experience and maturity. While she catches your eye offensively her potential on the defensive end of the floor might be the thing that will make her a top tier recruit.
Nike TOC-Dec. 09: With youth comes swings of brilliance and indifference, just enough to keep a coach's blood pressure in the moderate risk zone. Bishop Gorman wing Diamond Major is no exception. The 5-11 wing-forward is incredibly gifted athletically. She plays like an impact player in spots and like an inexperienced freshman in other spots. She can run, jump, and has good length. She is playing the 4-position right now but her future probably is on the perimeter. She has the burst in her first step to blow by defenders but is limited right now by her ball-handling. If she puts time into change of pace and change of direction moves she'll be able to use her athleticism on a more consistent basis. All that aside, anyone who can get out in transition and keep up with Ellenberg is doing something right.
Strong and athletic with good size. She has impressive speed and is willing to get out and run in transition. Will ultimately play on the perimeter but not ready for that at this point. Her court awareness and skills are still developing but the potential is obvious.
