ESPN Player Evaluations

Battle in the Boro-July 11: Always one of the most physically gifted players on the floor. Strong, quick and active, she's a consistent contributor at both ends. Very aggressive in looking for the ball both posting up as well as flashing through the lane looking for reversals and high - lows. Was able to create looks with bigger players in her face but struggled to finish at times. She's a physical and attacking defender which is a plus with her being somewhat undersized on the interior. Very effective on the boards at both ends. (Lewis)

PBR Super 64-July 11: Despite being a somewhat undersized forward, Malone is a presence on the floor. Physically strong, athletic and willing to mix things up she has an impact at both ends. Offensively she's attacking and spinning off defenders looking for the quick shot in traffic. She's active in the halfcourt and runs the floor with the guards on the break. Some additional options from the high post or short corners will need to be added at the next level to keep defenders guessing. On the defensive end she's effective with her quickness and strength and more than willing to take on match ups that bring more size to the mix. (Lewis)

DFW March Fest-March 11: Was effective on the offensive glass. Strong kid who gives max effort from possession to possession. Would like to see her become more consistent with her face up jumper as well as finish through contact. (Moore)

Nike Nationals-July 10: Malone was one of the fastest interior players we noticed in the 15U division of Nike Nationals. A marvel of an athlete, Malone rebounds at rim level and defends as high as that point as well. She has great hands and can finish shots around the basket. She will need to improve her shooting range to become an even more effective player. Texas has produced its share of interior workhorses, look for Malone to add her name to that list in time. (Nelson)

Strong, solid athlete who can play a power game. Has a great build and posts hard down low. Does a nice job of reading on the catch. She'll have to expand her game but the potential is there. (Lewis)
