Blue Chip Super Sunday-Jan. 12: A Rutgers signee, Copper shined like gold on Sunday night. She was the premier athlete in the event. Her ability to slash through the lane seemingly at will helped Prep Charter to a win over Johnson's O'Hara squad in Sunday's nightcap. At 5-11, she's long enough to be a threat on both ends of the floor especially going after loose balls coming off the rim. (Clay)
Nike Nationals-July 10: Copper continues to show some of the most versatile play in the 2011 class. She continues to create off the dribble but also works effectively in the paint. Her athleticism helps her make plays that catch your eye and leave defenders standing. Her first step gets her by both bigger and quicker defenders and she's solid in traffic. Didn't shoot it as well as she did in DC but still left no doubt about how effective she can be. Defensively she has the potential to be a standout in any pressing or trapping situation. (Lewis)
Battle in the Boro-July 11: Playing with greater confidence and a desire to be a go to player. Slashes and slithers through traffic like a running back avoiding defenders. Still very lean in her build but the explosive athleticism is more than offsetting her lack of bulk. First step and vertical are on par with virtually any other player in the class. Elevates impressively on her shot and on the boards. Her previously noted skills are looking sharper and more advanced but still could use further refinement to make her the threat she's capable of becoming. Her shot still looks good and though she was inconsistent from the perimeter she finished well around the rim. Defensively all the tools are there and she's beginning to embrace them even more while disrupting play after play. (Lewis)
USJN DC-July 10: Football coaches often reference players "flying all over the field" and that description would have soundly fit this 6-foot wing from Philadelphia, Pa. On the boards, in the passing lanes, out on the break, you name it and Copper was there making an impact. Ultra-athletic with a long, lean build, she has the physical tools to be effective inside and out but should find her future on the perimeter at the college level. Her agility and quickness helped her create off the drive from the elbow and even provided her some easy looks from the block spinning off flat-footed defenders. She's already has a sound pull-up and a decent stroke from deeper on the perimeter. Her speed was there in transition both on the break and defensively. On the glass, an impressive vertical saw her rise up in the crowd time and again to grab a rebound. With refinement of her ballhandling and passing and some consistency to her perimeter shot she's got the potential that should lead to more than her share of offers.
Run For Roses-July 10: Extremely talent wing player who uses her length and athletic ability well on offense and defense. At times she can get let her attitude get the best of her and disengage from her coaches and teammates. (Bodine)
Boo Williams-April 10: Very quick and athletic wing player with a lot of upside.
