ESPN Player Evaluations

USAB U16 Trials-May 11: Beard-Fails has shown potential over that last several years to have a bright college career in front of her. Her solid build is on the edge of taking away some of her attack and mobility. As a somewhat undersized interior threat she needs to active, mobile and keep outworking those around her on the floor. Her play has always had a blue collar element to it and she's seldom backed down from anyone on either end of the court. In the trials she struggled at times with the pace of some of the scrimmages but still had a moment or two in the halfcourt settings. That bright future is still there but ultimately what level she plays on could well be determined across the course of the summer. (Lewis)

Winter 2010-11: Has a nose for the ball in the paint... hard worker. (Bodine)

NAIC Southeast-Oct. 10: Solid and physically strong build at the forward spot. Effective on the low block despite being more of a #4. Aggressive and attacking play makes her effective and efficient. Has the ability to work from the elbows but will need to expand her perimeter skills to keep defenders honest down the road. Surprising lateral speed makes her a deceiving defender. (Lewis)

Nike Nationals-July 10: Strong, power player who's not hesitant to play that way. Finishes well down on the block and is willing to get out and run the floor on the break. Has the frame college strength coaches love. (Lewis)

Notes

Participated in the Boo Williams Summer League.
