Summer 08: She is like many of her fellow Cal Swish teammates, underappreciated. The USC commit is long and skilled and really leads her team by example. Her face-up mid-range game shines and her passing skills really get overlooked because of the scoring she can do.

Summer 07: Marinacci is a prolific scorer in high school. A 30-point game is not uncommon. Her mid-range game offensively is one of the best in the class. She can dribble in from the wing or reverse pivot from the high post and get right into her shooting motion. She has a quick trigger and combining that with her height and length her shot will be hard to bother, even at the college level. Getting stronger and playing more physical will be the challenge for her at the college level. She needs to be able to handle the more physical forwards defensively. She struggles a little bit against elite level quickness when she tries to play faster, when she relaxes and plays to her strenghts she can play against almost anyone.
