AZ Elite Spring Classic-April 09: Danielle Walter is one of the taller point guards you will see on the circuit at 6-0. Her length exceeds beyond her height, making her a tough matchup for most. She has some nice shake to her game and uses her quickness to create space. Once she has created space, she isn't afraid to let a step-back jumper fly or wing a one-handed baseball pass by the defender to a cutting teammate. She needs to continue to build on her change-of-direction moves because she is a little predictable at times with her behind-the-back, right-to-left wrap around -- which good defenders will key on. However, her 3-point shooting has improved greatly making her a tough guard for just about anyone.

March 09: Pasco's Danielle Walter has tremendous talent. The 5-11 combo guard plays the point primarily in high school, but has plenty of redeeming qualities as a shooting guard. She has tremendous vision and the swagger to pass the ball through the defense. She can create shots for herself as evidenced by Mount Tahoma's box-and-one scheme designed to slow her down. Unfortunately for Pasco fans, coach Steve Davis decided to keep Walter in the back court and play four-on-four for as long as Mount Tahoma continued to play that defense.

The biggest question with her is consistency. She needs to show she wants to dominate the opposition game in and game out. When she turns it on she's something special.
