Music City-July 09: Louisville-commit Antonita Slaughter is one of the most intriguing prospects in the class. The 6-2 wing prospect is already ranked No. 63 in the class. Her physique and athleticism are rare and her aggressiveness on the court suggests she'll get the most out of her natural ability. She is far from a finished product, but has the makings of a potential Big East star, if she continues to refine her skills and improve her range. Defensively, she can make a passing lane disappear or erase a potential gimmee bucket with her shot-blocking ability.

Boo Williams-April 09: Antonita Slaughter of the Memphis Elite showed why Jeff Walz and the folks at the University of Louisville are on a roll. Having committed way back last year to the Cardinals, the 6-2 wing continues to demonstrate that she has the size, skills and potential to be an impact player in an elite program. Her versatility in scoring both on the perimeter and with penetration makes her a challenging defensive assignment for any opponent. With the ball in her hands, she is very fluid in her attack and her jumper has an impressive soft touch.

Fall 08: Louisville commit Antonita Slaughter, a 6-2 wing from Shelbyville, Ky., has the whole package. Good size, athleticism, length and outstanding perimeter skills make her quite the catch for the Cardinals. Add to that long range and a smooth stroke and the potential is there for something special. The "long" build also makes her an effective defender on smaller perimeter players. She'll need to be more physical at the college level, but two more years and Mother Nature should take care of that issue.

Spring 08: Arguably the best underclass shooter at the Midwest Showdown was 6-1 2010 wing Antonita Slaughter. In a game Sunday afternoon, the Louisville commit bombed away, hitting five three pointers, but also showed the versatility to finish off the dribble on a couple of possessions too. Slaughter has a bloodline to explain her skill as her older sister, Toni, went to Louisville in the early part of the decade as well.
