ESPN Player Evaluations

USJN DC-July 10: Her performance in DC offered a few welcomed glimpses of the potential that everyone has been envisioning for several years now. She looked for the ball more aggressively in the low post and was able to finish effectively on the catch. Additionally she was a presence on the boards at both ends and started to use the physical strength she has defensively. When she taps into the obvious potential that's there, good things can happen. (Lewis)

Battle For The Boro-July 10: Still showing all the potential in the world but not quite yet delivering on it. Has the size, strength and mobility that almost any coach would love to have. Needs more assertiveness and a more aggressive approach to her play. There's a lot of experience under her belt and it's time to start producing more. (Lewis)

Boo Williams-April 10: All the physical tools are in place. She has the size, build and strength to be a real presence in the low post. Her aggressive posting gets her the ball. She's obviously worked on her post moves and they've improved but will still need advancement before she moves on to the next level. Her effort at the defensive end is physical and aggressive and she's strong on the glass.

Midwest Showdown-May 09: At 6 feet 3, Elem Ibiam has the height to play the post at any level. She has the frame to play at the highest level as well. She has good length and strong shoulders, both of which she does a great job of using each possession. She has a physical nature about her. She seals her defender well and gives a great target for post entry. She showed some good skills working with teammates in high-low situations. She is definitely one to watch in the class if you're in the market for a post.

Spring 08: Elem Ibiam's body build reminds of current Georgia center Angel Robinson (Marietta High School). The 6-3 post is a definite Watch List kid in the 2011 class. She ran the floor, finished underneath and even hit a couple of turnaround jumpers in the paint.
