The Cavaliers' 31 percent 3-point shooting in January is the second-worst in the NBA this month. Poor shooting overall has afflicted the team's "Big Three" lately: LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love have combined for 51.5 points per game on 36 percent shooting over the last four games. On the other side, the Suns' Devin Booker is averaging 30.0 points over his last six games, helped by 55 percent 3-point shooting.

Rodgers said Neal is "one of the best tacklers in the league based on the way he's played this season" and said he plays the Kam Chancellor role in Atlanta's Seahawks-inspired defense. "I think Neal is a very, very talented player. I think he's had a fantastic season. He does a lot of things out there that make you think he's a veteran," Rodgers said.

And the team would still likely be called the "Oakland" Raiders in the two years it would stay in the East Bay while awaiting the Las Vegas dome to be built, should they get approval to move. So no, no Las Vegas Raiders of Oakland. And no, no plans to rebrand the team in Las Vegas. They would be the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, much has to happen before these scenarios can play out.

The Raiders filing relocation paperwork for Las Vegas is the next expected step in a plan known since owner Mark Davis announced his Southern Nevada interest last April.

Jets owner Woody Johnson will be the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, President-elect Donald Trump announced today in Washington. Trump referred to Johnson as "ambassador" during remarks at a D.C. luncheon, per the NY Post. This has been rumored for months. Johnson, a major Trump fundraiser, said recently it "would be an honor to be considered" for the post. Johnson would be required to live in England. He'd probably have to give up day-to-day control of the team. His brother, Christopher, reportedly could assume that role.
