Branden Grace is eyeing his best finish at The Open after completing the first round at even par. He finished with a bogey to leave Royal Birkdale a touch frustrated, but remained optimistic that he could better his T20 placing of two years ago. "I'm feeling my game is going in the right direction again and starting to feel comfortable on the fairways and greens," Grace said. "I would like to think I could be in contention come Sunday and have my sights on the top 10. It's tough out there, it's a grind. It's never nice to finish that way but it's still a good day."
