Jeffrey Earnhardt, VRX Simulators and StarCom Racing team up: StarCom Racing, who recently acquired a Charter for the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, signs Jeffrey Earnhardt to compete in this year's historic 60th running of the DAYTONA 500, and the rest of the season. This will ensure keeping the Earnhardt name alive at the event for the 40th straight year. SCR's recent Charter acquisition guarantees the team a position in the Great American Race, where it will showcase its partnership with VRX Simulators in the 00 Chevy Camaro, which will be piloted by 4th generation cup series driver Jeffrey Earnhardt. StarCom Racing acquires charter for full Cup season: StarCom Racing acquired a NASCAR Charter for the upcoming 2018 MENCS season and will run a full 36-week schedule. StarCom Racing returns to action at Phoenix: StarCom Racing will attempt its second race of the season in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series this weekend with veteran driver, Derrike Cope, at the wheel of the #00 Chevy for the Can-Am 500 at Phoenix International Raceway. Cope will display the StarCom Fiber logo as the primary sponsor on the hood of the #00 along with returning Co-Primary sponsor and longtime Cope partner, Ashurst American Honey, on the quarter panels for this weekend's 500 mile event.[More](11-7-2017)

Cope plans to attempt Phoenix StarCom Racing will attempt two more NASCAR premier series races this season. SCR, which made its debut at Kansas last week (Oct 22), will attempt to qualify for Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races at Texas and Phoenix next month, according to team manager and driver Derrike Cope. Cope said he will be the driver in the two remaining races on the team's schedule this season.
