Chargers coach Anthony Lynn and Philip Rivers had an animated exchange in the first quarter of the Buffalo Bills with the Bolts up 10-7. Asked to reveal what the two were talking about, Lynn politely declined. However, Lynn did say that he and Rivers are good. "In games, Philip plays with a lot of fire, plays with a lot of emotions," Lynn said. "I like that. I think those emotions are what make him the player that he is today. Sometimes we have different opinions on things. We talk it out. We yell it out -- whatever it takes. But at the end of the day, we're on the same page. I don't think that's uncommon at all, especially when you know one another and you trust one another. You can have some healthy conflict, and no one takes it personal."

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler said he likes 1980's rock music, which is why he does the air guitar for his TD celebration. Ekeler said his favorite ‘80s rock band is Aerosmith. "I always wanted to play the guitar," Ekeler said. "It's something I'll definitely pick up in the offseason. I was going to in college, but never really had the time."

Rams WR Robert Woods injured his left shoulder on an in-breaking route late in Sunday's game, when Harrison Smith tackled him to the ground with his weight on top of him. Rams coach Sean McVay said "there was a chance" this injury would threaten Woods' season and require surgery. "But I think we got good, positive news back on that," McVay added. Rams are hoping it's two weeks.

The Chargers did some preparation for the Cowboys during the team's bye week two weeks ago. However, Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said that he and his coaching staff immediately turned their attention to Dallas after the team's blowout win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Lynn said the coaching staff did not review film on the Bills. "We don't have time," Lynn said. "We leave Wednesday morning, going to Dallas. We've got to get onto the Cowboys right away."

Chargers' secondary comes up roses

The Chargers on Sunday became the first team to intercept five passes in the first half of a game since the Dolphins did so against the Steelers on Dec. 3, 1973. Joe Gilliam, Pittsburgh's starting QB that night, was picked off three times before Terry Bradshaw came in and was intercepted twice more before halftime. (Elias Sports Bureau)

No sacks for Aaron Donald, but he pressured the quarterback seven times on Sunday, according to Pro Football Focus. That's more than the entire Texans defense from Sunday. Donald has 60 pressures on the year, at least 12 more than any interior defender.

Rams' O-line combined to give up 13 QB pressures Sunday, its 2nd-highest total this season and 2nd-most among O-lines in Week 11, according to Pro Football Focus. Jared Goff was 5-of-13 for 40 yards when pressured, 18-of-24 for 185 yards when not, per PFF.

From Elias: Sunday's Rams-Saints game will mark the fourth time since the 1970 merger that two teams averaging 30-plus points per game meet in Week 12 or later. In the previous three such games, only one team reached 30 points. Saints and Rams each have good defenses, too.

Worth noting: Rookie NT Tanzel Smart received only seven snaps on Sunday, with Rams still looking for a third starter alongside Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers. DE Ethan Westbrooks (31 snaps), DT Tyrunn Walker (26) and Morgan Fox (19) all played more.
