INJURY UPDATE: CB Craig Mager returned to practice after missing the first two preseason games with a hamstring injury. The injury was the same hamstring Mager tore as a rookie, so the Chargers' training staff took extra precaution, Mager said. However, right tackle Joe Barksdale, who also missed last week, remained out with a sore foot. Lynn said that Barksdale is day-to-day. Backup tackle Tyreek Burwell had his broken right hand wrapped, but could play if he needs to this week against the Rams, Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said. Others who did not practice on Tuesday include Forrest Lamp (knee), Denzel Perryman (ankle), Jerry Attaochu (hamstring), Trovon Reed (hip), Casey Hayward (hamstring), Kenneth Farrow (ankle), Sean McGrath (knee), Mike Williams (back) and Jeff Cumberland (legs). Receiver Dontrelle Inman got dinged up midway through practice, leaving the field on his own and did not return with an undisclosed injury.
