Well, it was not a good night for the Thunder in Staples against the Clippers. Westbrook goes for *just* 24-5-4 as the Clippers roll 120-98. The Thunder get a day off on Tuesday and then it's back to Oracle to face Durant and the Warriors on Wednesday.

Without Steven Adams it was a struggle on both ends of the floor for the Thunder against the Clippers. Russell Westbrook didn't pick up an assist until about 90 seconds left in the first half, and is just 3-13 shooting (12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists).

On the second night of back-to-back games this season, Russell Westbrook is averaging 15.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in the opening half. Doc Rivers talked about building a wall to stop Westbrook from getting to the basket. With just under 3 minutes left in the first half, Westbrook has 11 points, 4 rebounds and 0 assists.

USC added another big man to its recruiting class as three-star offensive guard Jalen McKenzie announced his commitment to the Trojans on Monday night. McKenzie is the son of Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie and the younger brother of Tennessee defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie, the No. 26 overall prospect in the 2015 class. McKenzie is commitment No. 18 for USC in the 2017 class.

The Thunder's normally sturdy defense is feeling the effects of no Steven Adams. OKC is 8th in defensive efficiency at 103.9, but the Clippers have navigated through the Thunder backline with ease so far, +8 in points in the paint.

Efficiency of scoring has given the Clippers a 34-25 lead after one quarter. LA has scored two more baskets on seven less attempts and we're a blistering 5-of-9 from deep. DeAndre Jordan? He flirted with a double-double (9 points, 8 rebounds) before sitting the final minute of the opening quarter.

No Steven Adams means DeAndre Jordan is feasting. The Clippers C is at 7 points and 5 rebounds through 7 minutes of action. He's averaging 12.1 points and 13.8 rebounds this season.

DeAndre Jordan sank his first two free throws of the night. He's shooting 51.7 percent this season. Jordan shot 43 percent last season and is a career 42.9 percent free throw shooter.

Because of the Los Angeles Kings hockey game this afternoon, the floor at Staples didn't get put down until around 6 p.m. local time, which threw off the pregame routine of notoriously early arriver Russell Westbrook. He wasn't very thrilled with that.
