Dodgers getting Darvish the Rangers expected

Prior to putting up two 10-strikeout games in as many starts with the Dodgers, Yu Darvish had just four 10-K games in 22 starts with the Rangers this season. The right-hander's season high for strikeouts (12) came in his second-to-last start with Texas.

Can Yu do it again?

Yu Darvish has started his Dodgers career with back-to-back 10-strikeout games and will look to become the third pitcher since 1900 with 10 K's in each of his first three starts with a new team when he takes the mound Wednesday against the White Sox.

The Dodgers improved to 84-34 with their win against the White Sox Tuesday. According to Elias, they are the eighth team in the Live Ball era to reach 50 games above .500 before picking up their 35th loss. They are the first to do so since the 2001 Mariners started 80-30.

If the Dodgers want to make a realistic push at chasing the single-season record of 116 wins, this is a week they need to clean up, with five games against the White Sox and Tigers. Good start. They broke open a 1-1 game with five runs in the eighth -- all with two outs. Alex Wood didn't improve to 15-1 as he got a no-decision, but he threw just 79 pitches in an efficient seven-inning outing.

UCLA QB Josh Rosen had no interest in rehashing the interview he gave to Bleacher Report or the reaction to it, "at this point I'm kind of just talking about camp," he said. Rosen also said he was hopeful to be in a position one day to make some significant decisions, when asked about Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank's decision to leave President Donald Trump's manufacturing council. Under Armour is in the first year of a $280 million apparel deal with UCLA.
