USC coach Clay Helton repeatedly cited privacy laws when asked about the sexual assault investigation into linebacker Osa Masina and said he will defer to the university when it comes to discipline. "Really as a coach, you're taken out of it," Helton said. "This is a university matter and a university policy and I'm confident in the guidance of the university here so they'll let me know." Masina is currently under investigation from police departments in Utah and Los Angeles for separate incidents, a Cottonwood Heights, Utah, spokesman told ESPN.com. Documents relating to the investigation in Utah, obtained by ESPN.com, show the investigation is for sexual assault. Los Angeles Police confirmed Masina has been interviewed relating to a current investigation, but would not provide any further details.
