Chargers coach Anthony Lynn, speaking between bites of bacon and scrambled eggs, had some nice things to say about the Rams' new offensive line coach, Aaron Kromer, whom he worked with in Buffalo. "I think Krome's one of the better offensive-line coaches in the game," he said. "He's an excellent teacher, he has a good relationship with his players, and I think he got the most out of them (with the Bills). It was very easy to put together plans with him. He gets it. It was a pleasure to work with him."

With Monday's owners vote approving the Raiders' move to Las Vegas, the Raiders and Rams-- remember when they were Los Angeles neighbors? -- account for four of the NFL's six most recent relocations.

Rams COO Kevin Demoff acknowledged that the Raiders' situation -- getting approved for Las Vegas, but remaining in Oakland for two or three more years -- "is certainly awkward." But he called it "an advantage from a logistics perspective." "They're not relocating in the same year as the vote," Demoff said. "They're staying in California this year. There will be some difficulties that come with that, but from a planning perspective, logistics perspective, it gives them a lot more time than we had, or the Chargers have, to get set up, to give players a chance to look at houses, to understand where the facility will be. Some of the really difficult challenges that come with a compressed timeframe, they will not face."

Rams are still in search of a center and would prefer one with experience for Jared Goff, who's still only 22. They're exploring free agency and trades for that. But besides that, they are pretty much done with free agency. At least for now. Rams are estimated to have somewhere between $10M and $12M in cap space, but roughly $5M of that will go to the draft.
