USC hires 3 assistants from Huskies

Steve Sarkisian has brought three assistant coaches with him from Washington to USC.

USC has hired Johnny Nansen, Keith Heyward and Peter Sirmon as assistant coaches, Sarkisian announced Friday.

Nansen was Washington's running backs coach and special teams coordinator this season, and previously served as defensive line coach.

Heyward coached Washington's secondary, while Sirmon led the linebackers.

Sarkisian did not reveal the specific titles the coaches will have at USC

"I'm fired up to have Johnny, Keith and Peter join the staff, as well as keeping Tee on board," Sarkisian said in a statement. "We're on the right path in putting together one of the best coaching staffs in America."

Sarkisian also said that USC wide receiver coach Tee Martin will stay with the Trojans.
