Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Camby sat out Sunday night's game against the Boston Celtics with a hyperextended knee. His status going forward is officially "day to day" according to Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy.
Camby was initially injured in the fourth quarter of the Clippers 108-99 loss in Houston last Tuesday. He recovered enough to play 10 minutes in Friday's loss to Phoenix, but aggravated his knee early in the game and did not return.
Dunleavy didn't want to speculate on how long the Clippers leading rebounder (11.5 per game) would be out but indicated he didn't believe the injury was serious.
Second-year center DeAndre Jordanstarted on Sunday, scoring six points in the Clippers' 92-90 win. He will likely take Camby's spot until the veteran returns.
