4th and 2, Carson Wentz had nobody open, but he had a good pocket. He fired it to Alshon Jeffery, who somehow made an across-his-body catch before the football hit the ground, giving the Eagles a three-point lead. Tough unnecessary roughness call against Trumaine Johnson extended that drive.

There was a mistake with the press box announcement: Andrew Whitworth has not been ruled out; he is getting ready to come back in. Kayvon Webster is the one who was ruled out.

Rams ILB Alec Ogletree is back in the game. Bryce Hager was in for him earlier on this drive. Rams radio broadcast felt it might be dehydration.

A five-man NYPD team has been making sure the long line at the Big Baller Brand pop-up shop in New York is orderly. This probably won't help.

Chargers up 30-6 and looks like Philip Rivers is done for the day as Kellen Clemens enters game. Rivers finishes 18 of 31 for 319 passing yards, two TDs and no interceptions.

Rams announced 67,752 tickets distributed, a season high and pretty much their max on available tickets this season. Good energy today.

Milos Teodosic (foot) is officially listed as questionable for tomorrow's game vs. Raptors, another upgrade after he was listed as doubtful yesterday and out Wednesday night. It's Star Wars night at STAPLES Center Monday, and the first 10,000 fans in attendance get a Milos Jedi Knight bobblehead.

I surprised LaVar Ball at the Big Baller Brand pop-up shop in New York.

I cannot believe this. Mike Thomas blocked a punt, Blake Countess picked it up and scored, giving the Rams a four point lead. That's 14 points in the first five minutes of the second half by the Rams. The Rams have blocked three punts this season. Three!

Rookie Desmond King now has four sacks on the year, tying him with Rodney Harrison (1997 and 98) with the second-most sacks by a defensive back in a single season in team history. Harrison tops the list with six in 2000.

Sean McVay loves dialing up the quick slant for Sammy Watkins, especially in red zone situations. The latest one leads to a touchdown in traffic. Big opening drive by the Rams to start this second half.

Three straight plays for Todd Gurley to start the second half, one of them a screen, helps set up a wide open Cooper Kupp off play action.

Per ESPN Stats & Information, Keenan Allen is the first Charger with 100 receiving yards in four straight games since Wes Chandler in 1982.

Andrew Whitworth is back in the game, playing LT. A huge sigh of relief for the Rams.

Chargers LB Denzel Perryman down on the turf but popped up and jogged off on his own.

Rams did well to hold the Eagles to a field goal on that last drive, making their deficit 10 points heading into halftime. Carson Wentz has thrown an interception and is only 16-of-30, but he has been so, so good under pressure. Rams have to finish sacks, and I'd like to see them get Todd Gurley going on the ground. You can't win this game if Jared Goff is throwing the ball 50 times. Eagles have had the ball twice as long as the Rams.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Rams have been so close, so often on bringing down Carson Wentz. He's so good when pressured, the latest example being a 46-yard completion to Torrey Smith on third down.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Cooper Kupp has already set a new Rams rookie record for receptions with 55. Previous mark was held by Eddie Kennison, who had 54 in 1996.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Going back the last nine games, Jared Goff has thrown the ball 292 times and Todd Gurley has run the ball 142 times. Sean McVay is not afraid to attack teams through the air, which isn't a bad thing, but he has been prone to somewhat abandon the run when he falls behind early.

Rams LT Andrew Whitworth is questionable to return with an ankle injury. It'll be the little-used Darrell Williams at LT in his place. Rams could've also slid Rodger Saffold over and played Austin Blythe at LG.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Andrew Whitworth, who seemingly injured his right ankle, retreated to the Rams' locker room. It's Darrell Williams taking his place at LT, at least for now. Whitworth was walking around the sidelines, trying to test that his injured leg. He's been arguably the Rams' most important player. We'll see if he comes back out for the second half.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, it's the first time the Chargers have scored on their first five drives since Week 15 of 2011 season against the Ravens.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Nice inside move by Rams OLB Robert Quinn to record a sack on Carson Wentz, which helps lead to an eventual punt. That's Quinn's third in two games. He may be starting to find his form again.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn had an animated conversation with Austin Ekeler on the field before heading into the locker room -- wanted him to go down so they could call a timeout and kick a field goal.

Philip Rivers passed Warren Moon (49,325) and is ninth in NFL history in passing yards with 49,381 heading into halftime. Russell Okung (knee) also returned to the game in the first half.
