Lots of concern for the Dodgers after star rookie SS Corey Seager was hit by a pitch twice in Monday's game at Colorado. Seager was hit in the left wrist in the 7th inning by Rockies pitcher Chris Rusin, but remained in the game.

Dodgers are undecided if they are going to bring up Yasiel Puig on Sept 1 or later in Sept so he can get more consistent at-bats at AAA for his development. However, their tentative plan is for him to be back with Dodgers this year. It is also unlikely that Puig clears waivers and even more unlikely he's traded, at least until the off-season. According to a league source the Dodgers put close to 20 players on waivers this past weekend like almost every other club does this time of year.

AccuWeather is calling for a 34-percent chance of rain at first pitch in Denver for Dodgers-Rockies, going up to a 40-percent chance later in the evening. The radar, though, shows heavy storm cells heading toward downtown Denver from the north.
