Quarterback Jared Goff took command of the Rams' offense in a 35-23 victory over the Chargers, completing passes to six playmakers and even scrambling for 16 yards of his own. The Rams' offense has now posted 30-plus points in each of their three games, but as they prepare for a quick turnaround on Thursday night against the Minnesota Vikings, the biggest question is whether their star-studded defense will be ready after cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib left the game Sunday because of injuries.

Despite a variety of mistakes, the Rams lead the Chargers, 21-13, at half-time. In five possessions, the Rams have two turnovers, two touchdowns and a missed field goal. Todd Gurley fumbled the ball for the first time since Oct. 2017, Jared Goff tossed an interception in the end zone and Sam Ficken missed a 46-yard field goal. However, Cory Littleton continues to dominate on special teams -- he blocked his third punt dating to last season -- and the Rams recovered it for a touchdown.

I can't believe Cory Littleton blocked another punt for the Rams, this last one for a touchdown. That's three — three! — since the start of last season.

Great interception by Chargers safety Derwin James on a Jared Goff pass intended for TE Gerald Everett. Only hiccup is James couldn't stay in the end zone, and ran out of bounds at the 1-yard line. Chargers have now forced two turnovers.

Chargers WR Mike Williams with an amazing, 42-yard diving catch for a score to tie the game at 7-all. However, Williams remained down for awhile with what appeared to be a right shoulder injury. After being attended to by trainers, Williams got up and jogged off on his own.
