The rookie does it again. Cody Bellinger hits a three-run homer to center field, his 28th on the season and third go-ahead homer in the eighth inning or later. It also means the Dodgers appear headed to their 47th straight victory in a game they led at any point, a major league record.

Rare DL stint for Kershaw

The Dodgers officially placed ace Clayton Kershaw on the disabled list Monday with lower back tightness. It's just the third time in the southpaw's career that he has landed on the shelf, but each previous occurrence involved a back injury.

This almost seems unbelievable: The Dodgers have won 46 consecutive games when leading at any point, a major league record. They last lost such a game on May 15, when they blew a 1-0 third-inning lead to the Giants. In related news, the Twins have tied the game after trailing 3-2.
