In two meetings against Oklahoma City without Lonzo Ball, the Lakers have lost by 37 and 24 points, respectively. The Lakers are now 0-8 when Ball is out. Besides Ball pushing the pace, creating ball movement and unselfish hockey assists on offense, the Lakers really miss their rookie point guard on defense. Entering tonight, the Lakers surrendered 107.8 points per game and 44.6% shooting with Ball. Without Ball, that swelled to 124.1 points and 51.9% shooting per game.

The NBA is suspending Houston's Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green two games for aggressively entering the Clippers' locker room Monday night. Rockets teammates Chris Paul and James Harden will not face discipline or fines for their roles.
